I am an enterprising leader & planner and a strong record of contributions and responsibilities includes Procurement, Materials Management/Stores, Purchase Operations, eSourcing, Contract Management, Vendor Development, Procurement Planning, Logistics, Inventory Planning, Strategic Sourcing and Global Sourcing.

I am currently serving as the Deputy General Manager (Commercial)–Corporate Management Services Division with Aditya Birla Management Corporation Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai. I am representing as a principal executive ‘point of contact’ for the company accountable for ensuring that our Internal customers appropriate business strategies are in place and are implemented upon according to the competing priorities.

This role requires me to spearhead the entire gamut of process operations and managing total procurement over US$ 230 million in a year; undertake RA (Reverse Auction) in group wide ocean freight, raw materials, transportation and so on; managing E–buying, global sourcing, vendor development, cost reduction related operations; perform as the In-charge of consulting for the entire procurement departments of the group companies as a profit center to enhance the profitability of the organization.

• Managed total procurement over US$ 230 million in a year which includes Petro Products, MRO Items, Courier, It products, Ocean Freight and so on for Aditya Birla Group
• Played a vital role in developing overarching global sourcing strategy with focus on transforming the procurement function into a value creation group by working in collaboration with stakeholders, cross function partners, and strategic supplier alliances to generate year-over-year productivity
• Merit of spearheading stock of material without variance by conducting stock verification; monitoring hygiene and taking safety measures
• Excellence in undertaking logistics, projects stores and inventory control, codification of materials, issue & receiving of materials, scrap disposal, wastage control and packaging systems
