I am qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa) with over 19 years work experience (external and internal audit). I am currently the Head of Internal at Trans Caledon Tunnel Authority.

Knowledge acquired during the course of my career includes:

•Working knowledge of COSO 2013 and its relevance to the internal control environment •Working knowledge and experience in International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) and other key International Accounting Standards (IAS)•Fraud prevention awareness in relation to the internal control environment specifically over financial reporting• Corporate Governance framework (King III) working knowledge and experience•Risk management •Business process (over 50 entities)•Code of ethics and other related guidelines developed by the IIA(SA)
