My most recent serving as the Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Hydraulics and Lubrication) with Vale Oman Pelletizing LLC, Sohar, Oman.

This role requires me to institute all preventive and breakdown maintenance of hydraulic equipment of reclaimer, stacker, ship unloader, ship loader, grinding mill, mixture m/c, thickener, balling disc, reciprocating conv. travelling grate, rotary kiln, Annular cooler, belt conveyors; monitor assembly & overhauling of machinery & equipment, gear boxes, bearings, couplings, different types of pumps, hydraulics pump, hydraulic valves, (Direction controlled. valve, pilot operated valve, relief valve, loading unloading valve counterbalance valve, sequence valve, proportional valve), hydraulic motor, conveyors, roll stands and so on.

• Successfully reduced downtime by 0.9% through measures such as modification of Duplex Filter of Metso reciprocating conveyor hydraulic system
• Showcased excellence in executing plant expansion / modification / upgradation projects such as Oil Drum replacement method of Rotary kiln girth gear lubrication and reduction in consumption of lubricant up to 10%
• Played a vital role in escalating Overall Operating Efficiency (OEE) by 1.5% through measures such as Pan Conveyor wheel lubrication system on running condition and support roller shaft cooling improvement
