Tanmay Kulkarni

I am Tanmay Kulkarni, a Mechanical Engineer with Post Graduation in Business Management & having experience in the execution of projects. Following is the short overview of my professional experience.
Currently, I am working as an Assistant Manager- Mechanical Projects with Essar Projects (PNG)Ltd located at Mount Hagen in Papua New Guinea. I joined Essar in November 2011 for Komo Airfied Projects (EPC 5B) a part of PNG-LNG project of Exxon Mobil in Komo, Southern Highlands province. Essar was the subcontractor for the project & Total contract value of 51 Million USD. I was responsible for fabrication & Erection of structural steel buildings of Airports along with the Installation & commissioning of Fire services, Plumbing services, Water treatment plants, Sewage treatment plants, Pump House, Jet A1 fuel & Diesel fuel farms, Navigational aids for the project. I completed Komo Airfield Project from start to end.
In November 2013, I moved to Mount Hagen, Western Highlands province & joined Kapal Haus Project (G +8 Residential service apartment & G+4 Government office). The client is Government of Papua New Guinea & Kramer Ausenco (PNG) Ltd. Essar is the main contractor for the project & Total contract value of 50 Million USD. I am responsible for the Installation & commissioning of Fire services, Plumbing services, Water treatment plants, Sewage treatment plants, Pump House along with structural fabrication & installation of Structural steel works.
While working on Kapal Haus Project in Mount Hagen, I was entirely responsible for execution of other projects simultaneously like The G+3 Jiwaka provincial headquarter project of value 5 Million USD , Coffea factory with Warehouse of value 6 Million USD.
I am also responsible for bidding, tendering, estimation of new projects & part of team of Business development.
Before Joining Essar Projects, I was working with Petromech Engineers (Pvt) Ltd & was responsible for Business development of imported pipes, pipe fittings, and valves in India for Oil & Gas, Power, and Fertilizer industry. I worked for M/S Petromech Engineers (Pvt) Ltd. For one year & three months.
During my professional experience of five years & nine months, I have gained strong skills of project execution, project planning, and Project scheduling, Estimation, Bidding & tendering. Being a management graduate I am very much keen on taking new challenges to grow personally with utmost sincerity in profitable manner to the organization. I possess strong analytical skills, can do attitude, strong verbal & written communication, self-motivated, ability to work in cross cultural environment, ability to work under pressure.
