My name is Srihari Kandra. I am pursuing a challenging career in the field of electrical machines, drives, compressors and home appliances. I have spent 16 years of my career in home appliances industry. Majorly worked in “design and development of small and medium size electrical motors used in reciprocating compressors for refrigerators and rotary compressors for air-conditioners and for home appliances like washing machines and dryers”. I can contribute in improving motor efficiencies and cost competencies. I have good experience in model profitability analysis and cost innovation management.
I have good knowledge and experience in designing of advanced motors like BLDC motors for various home appliance applications. I have experience of setting up of BLDC Motor line and total motor organization of cross function teams. I have taken care of Motor division total operations. Now as the industry is moving towards energy efficiency improvement across the products, I can definitely contribute in designing and co-working with suppliers for development of BLDC motors.
Presently I am working as Head, Sales Engineering Team, Component Solution Business Division in LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd. This division takes care of sales of reciprocating compressors, rotary / scroll compressors and motors.
I have experience of leading compressor R&D team for 4 years and compressor sales engineering team for 5 years. I have sufficient information and knowledge about India refrigerators, air-conditioners & compressor market and its trends. I can contribute in making product strategies in appliance segment.
I am black belt holder in “Manufacturing Six Sigma” tool & I have completed and guided many six sigma projects. I can definitely contribute in improving the performance & cost of the products by implementing the tools like “Design of Experiments”.
