My education comprises Ph.D. (Microbiology) from Integral University, Lucknow; M.Sc. (Hons.) in Microbiology from Integral University, Lucknow, secured 81.40%, and B.Sc. (Hons.) in Zoology from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, secured 63.26%.
I was awarded Gold medal for First Rank holder in master's course in 2011. I was also named as ''JSPS HOPE FELLOW'' in recognition of successful participation in 8th HOPE Meeting in Tsukuba, Japan, 2016. Further, I was awarded by the prestigious INSPIRE Fellowship in May, 2013 from Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi, Government of India. In addition to this awarded UGC-Maulana Azad National Fellowship for Doctoral programme in 2014.
My research areas are microbiology, molecular biology, biotechnology, ligand-target interactions. In last five years, I have published 30 research articles in peer reviewed international journal [Total impact factor: 45] and one book chapter (OMICS Group eBooks, USA). I have 29 GenBank Accession Numbers (Genes isolated from bacteria) published to my credit too. I also have two years experience post M.Sc. degree as Research Assistant (RA) in CST-UP funded project in the field of animal genetic toxicology at AMU, Aligarh. I have also trained various UGs and PGs student for dissertation of various research areas.
