Santoshkumar Baratam

An energy management professional, with 7+ years of experience in different energy domains like Solar, Wind, Li-Ion Batteries, BMS, Air conditioning optimization, Power Converters Design.

To introduce myself, completed my MTech in Power Electronics and Machine Drives from IIT Kharagpur in 2011 and BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Andhra University in 2008.

Started with my career in Crompton Greaves R&D, worked with power electronics team on Solar MPPT Battery charger design and development, solar water pump controller design optimization. Moved to improve my career opportunity in product development segment to Mahindra Susten, where I worked with different OEMs in development and launch the solar inverters, solar street lights, solar home lighting systems, solar lanterns. Latter, I moved to a UK based startup in India called Intelligent Energy India Pvt Ltd, which works on energy management activities in different market segments as a new solution architect and serving the organization from Dec 2014. In present role, I am working with different renewable solutions for different energy segments like telecom, aquaculture, ATMs, Cold Storages,Defence Power supplies, UAV power solutions, Off-grid power solutions for Indian Railways and automobile industries using solar/Li-ion/Hydrogen Fuel Cells/Wind and hybrid solutions.
