Roles & Responsibilities

 Repair and rework existing molds:
 Drawing study to manufacture the mold process planning and distribute the accordingly in tool room machine shop.
 Repair, tear-down and rework existing molding tools as needed.
 Manage repairs/rebuilds using in-house resources and third party mold shops.
 Prepare quotes and timelines on the work involved in reworks/repairs.
 Assemble / disassemble injection molds
 Responsible for timely mold preventive maintenance.
 Tool trial and rectification.
 Having practical experience about injection molding machine like Ferromatic, Husky, Windsor, and slider machines.
 Preventative Maintenance:
 Manage Preventative Maintenance projects using in-house staff:
 Create and manage a mold database/list and track updates, modifications, spare parts lists, and other relevant information for all molds within the Company.
 Wire limit switches
 Mold preventative maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, polishing
 Blue and spot shutoffs in and out of the machine
 Communication:
 Communicate appropriately with customers, engineering, manufacturing, and quality departments.
 Provide manufacturing staff support and other duties as assigned.
 Mold Troubleshooting
 Troubleshooting injection molding defects such as Warp age, Flow Line, jetting, Air trap, Burn Mark, Brittleness, Discoloration, De-lamination, and Shrinkage.
 ISO DOCUMENTS
 Responsible for planning and conducting internal Audit.
 Data collection and record maintain of mold history.
 Maintaining 5S at Tool Room
 Maintaining the preventive Maintenance plan.
 Handling breakdown reports
 Analyze and action will be done based on breakdown report
 Following the mold maintenance supplier for correction as per report
