I am an experienced maritime/logistics professional working as Senior Manager – Supply Chain Management in SSL Ltd based in Hyderabad. I am responsible for coordinating with all the branches nation-wide regarding bulk, container and project related activities like improving operational efficiency, monitoring and improving cargo handling system, optimizing utilization of available infrastructure and monitoring stevedoring activities.

I do have international experience and worked as Cluster Supply Chain Transport Manager - EMEA in Staples Europe Ltd based in London. I am responsible for Europe, Middle East and African region but I also occasionally deal with shipments that are going to Australian and American continents. On a daily basis, I deal with various cross functions to minimize error during final shipment of goods from factory based in China to multiple global destinations, I also deal with contract negotiations with different carriers tailoring to our business needs so that the project is completed within the operational expenditure. Having regular team meetings to make sure that the project is actually going as per planned and providing basic logistical layout on future projects.
