Currently I am working at CSIR-Unit for Research and Development of Information Products (URDIP):
Project Assistant II – August 2017 to present

Mainly working for IP Landscaping, Prior Art Search, Patentability Search, Freedom to Operate Search, Validity/Invalidity Search in the field of chemistry, biology and chemical engineering etc. also in research planning of Chem-Bio Informatics for Drug Discovery (CBDD), molecular Modelling for Lead Optimisation of bioactive molecules for selected diseases.

Patent Searching and Analysis Skill :

• Hands-on experience of successfully handling various projects related to Patents as well as Industrial Designs such as prior art search, Novelty search, Freedom to operate (FTO), Validity/Invalidity, Infringement Analysis, Patent Landscaping, White Space Mapping, Product to Patent search etc.

• Responsible for interacting with inventors and clients, within CSIR and outside the CSIR which include various multinational and domestic entities

• Skilled proficiency of using various patent databases including paid databases like STN, Thomson Innovation, Patbase, Questel Orbit, Patseer, as well as free databases like Google patents, Espacenet, Derwent Innovation Index, Patentscope, USPTO, KRIPS etc.

• Effective execution of Non-patent Literature Search and Analysis using databases like Web of science, Chemical Abstracts, Google scholar etc.

• Effective searching skill of Design patent and product databases like Orbit for Design, McDesign, GNPD etc.

• Professional working proficiency of data analysis and visualization using tools like Vantage Point, MS Excel and other features of MS office

• Efficient preparation of reports for patentability, infringement, landscape, invalidity and freedom to operate searches as per client requirement

• Knowledge of Pharma/Drug Database - Thomson Reuters Integrity, PubChem etc.
