I have long and extensive industrial experience in oil & Gas sector, water sector, utilities, MV, HV and EHV power systems networks (substations and transmission lines), Oil & Gas sector and petrochemical field. I can manage and lead engineers and engineering team up to 100 individuals.

I possess excellent experience in power system design and analysis, studies, protection relays schemes, coordination and settings, SCADA, development of specifications, sizing and selection of equipment and T&D power systems. This includes MV power generation plants, MV, HV substations (air insulated and GIS) and HV transmission lines.

I can handle and manage capital EPC projects (onshore and offshore projects) effectively from inception to completion. This includes generation of conceptual design, FEED, detailed design, equipment specifications, development engineering packages, review and approve design calculations and engineering packages, RFQ/bid documents, procurement of equipment and materials for industrial power systems, substations and transmission lines such as LV/MV motors, generators, UPS, switchgears, MCCs, PF correction systems, motor starters & VFD, DC systems, circuit breakers, power transformers, instrument transformers, disconnect switches, insulators, lightning arresters, steel structures, towers, poles, conductors, fibre optic cables, grounding materials, fence materials, lighting fixtures, protection relays, PLCs/DCS, RTU panels, SCADA system and the like.

My Experience in projects management & construction includes engineering, design and construction of LV & MV pumping stations, power distribution systems, power plants and MV & HV substations, HV mobile substations, oversee, manage and monitor design engineers, designers, drafters and projects’ support staff and other resources to ensure that development of drawings and other deliverables are in compliance with scope, company policy, specifications, schedule and within the budget. Further my experience includes scheduling, preparing listing of breakdown activities, preparing management planning control system, maintain logs for all related documentation and information, monitor the progress and preparing progress reports, preparing schedule of resources, prepare invoices, ensure works are in compliance with terms and conditions of applicable contracts and agreements, report any variances from scope of work, keep the management updated on all aspects, deliver presentation, organize regular meetings. Mentor junior staff, apply change management criteria…etc.

Moreover, I am an expert in leading the maintenance works for factories, gas plants and oil production plants. This includes developing computerized maintenance plans (preventive & predictive), requisitioning spare parts, inventory control, preparing maintenance budgets, shutdown planning, expansion projects, modifications, management of day-to-day maintenance works, QA/QC inspection, testing & commissioning and develop the relevant detailed reports.

I can manage projects’ teams and resources effectively & safely (HSE) in order to complete the projects and relevant tasks on time and on budget in compliance with specifications, scope and schedule.

To conclude, I am an expert in my field as a professional electrical engineer (active member
professional engineer, registered in PEO, Ontario, Canada).

I am fully acquainted with Canadian, North American and International standards and codes stated in my resume. Moreover, I am familiar with BC Hydro design requirements, specifications, policy, standards and regulations.
