For the past 5 years in my job as sales and business development manager of a cookware and bakeware exporter I have travelled to Germany, USA and within China to develop business for export purposes. By going to trade shows, following up trade leads on b2b platforms such as Alibaba and Global Market, and by following up other sales leads I have increased the sales turnover and broadened the customer base of the company. I have developed two brands for the company. One is Lotus Rock, as shown here http://lotusrock.com and another is Professional Steel, as shown here http://steel-pan.net . As well as developing the websites, I have also produced 30 page catalogues, and packaging for these products and others. At our company showroom I have introduced and explained the properties and benefits of our product to visiting customers. I have lived in China for 5 years, and Taiwan for 4 years before that, so I am very used to living and adapting to a foreign country such as India. When I started my existing job I knew very little about cookware/ bakeware and the material science behind it. However, through hard work and a lot of dedication I learnt about the product quickly, which enabled me to promote it to our potential customers much better.
