Redhwan Abdullah

I finished my studies in 2015 with a masters degree in Mechanical engineering from the University of Rostock , with a focus on design , manufacturing and Welding Technology . My Master's thesis ( Design and prototype of an omnidirectional transport unit ) deals with the subject of Design , Production Engineering and Mechatronics .

Besides my studies I acquired practical experience through various Internships and my one year student assistantship at CELISCA ( Center for Life Science Automation ) .There I supported primarily engineers in the development of laboratory equipment , autonomously assemblies using CAD systems and assisted in assembling the device . This requires a cooperative and reliable team collaboration . The experienced use of CAD software and rapid incorporation into new programs are also among my skills .

I have advanced knowledge of PLC technology, which I acquired during my bachelor and master degree in mechanical engineering and implemented.

In addition to my solid educational foundation , I am highly motivated and have extensive experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, I am currently employed at SIKA Dr. Siebert und Kühn GmbH & Co. KG , in the Calibration Technology Division . My on the job responsibilities include

- Complete mechanical design of pressure calibration equipments for Domestic and International Markets

- Creating the Dimensional Drawings, Main Assembly Drawing, Part Drawings and the complete Bill of Materials .

- Responsible for tasks of analyzing the components to ensure design criteria and specific requirements.

- Helping the service team in trouble shooting and overhauling of motors.

- Handling the job of checking and correcting the complete Bill of Materials (BOM) of a machine before it is released to manufacturing.

- Solving problems in the shopfloor by working closely with production people involved in fabrication, machining, assembly and testing areas.
