A Drilling Fluids Engineer with rich Exposure to OFFSHORE and ONSHORE projects.
1. Experience with water /oil based mud systems and Completion brines in Exploratory and development wells.
2. Responsible for preparation & conditioning of Drilling Mud in accordance with well conditions and/or as advised by operator.
3. Responsible for maintaining the drilling fluids parameters like viscosity (funnel and plastic), yield point, gel strength, filtrate, (W/L) cake thickness, chlorides & hardness, pH alkalinity and other parameters as desired for efficient drilling operation.
4. Supervise and trained other mud chemist and mud engineer and ensure that they are working properly and safely
5. Responsible for the safe handling, loading unloading and stacking of chemicals at the well site to ensure and avoid damage to the chemicals bag
