I have more than 26 years of experience in organizational systems and methods, specifically in the design of quality management system, performance of gap analysis, internal and supplier auditing and the facilitation of process improvement initiatives. I have lead organizations to certification of ISO9001:2008 and OHSAS18001. These experiences have positioned me in representing Clients and managing projects ranging from building construction and civil engineering works, locally and abroad. Some of the prominent projects in which I was involved include some local projects such as the KLCC-Petronas Twin Tower, KLCC Retail Podium (presently known as KLCC Suria), Kuala Lumpur International Airport, South East Asia largest Sequential Batching Plant / Sewage Treatment Plant in Penang (a state in the northern part of Malaysia) and Malaysia Government Administrative Development in Putrajaya. Among projects involved abroad include the construction and completion of the Asian Games Village, various projects within the vicinity of the Burj Dubai and the Pearl QATAR.
I have continually enhanced my approach to quality assurance by developing customized variations to the design of quality system components that improve company processes and reduce overhead needed to maintain the systems. The approach on streamlining departmental processes, documentation system, employee ownership, process improvement and designing performance metrics within the organization have proven to add value to the organization. Projects in the quality assurance arena include the development of corporate-wide management system encompassing all aspects of quality control and quality assurance.
I hold a Master in Business Administration, with majors in Total Quality Management from the Newport University, USA. I am affiliated with the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM). I am a certified Lead Auditor and registered with IRCA, UK. I am also a certified OHSAS 18000 Auditor with SIRIM- STS, Malaysia and a certified Assessor for the Construction Quality Assessment System (CONQUAS) by the Singapore Building Construction Authority (BCA).
