A Finance professional with top management experience of 15 years in my capacity as Group CFO / CFO and other strategic roles , in which capacities I have worked closely with the Chairman / Board of Directors / Managing Director of the respective group/company as well as the global headquarters of MNCs.

I have experience of a variety of industries , including a conglomerate, and have good exposure of working in manufacturing setups ( like Automotive , Consumer Durables , Lighting , Chemicals , Steel Processing etc.) as well as industries like Real Estate , Hospitality , Financial Services , IT etc.

I have worked in blue-chip Indian companies like Mahindra & Mahindra as well as European MNCs like Philips India and Ciba and have financially managed groups having companies spread over various geographies as well as various divisions.

I have also good experience of the Middle East region , having been Group CFO of Suhail Bahwan Automotive Group for four years .

I have strong experience of turning around companies , managing them in a liquidity crisis as well as setting them on a growth path .

I am a Chartered Accountant , Cost & Management Accountant and a Law graduate .

I do a lot of professional reading , both intensively as well as extensively , essentially to strengthen my knowledge on new areas that I come along as well as to remain update .
Reading covers areas like Derivatives , IFRS , Companies Act , management books on general management and strategy and regular updation by reading the magazines of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and The Institute of Cost Accountants of India .
