1. A total control of all types of materials pertaining to the construction of Industrial plants (Oil & Gas / Power
Projects) - PROCUREMENT-EXPEDITE -LOGISTICS
2. Thorough knowledge of Computerized Material Control System through SAP, TLA, Marian and other EPC packages.
3. Exposure in SAP - PSCM system, attending to queries & posting GRN (goods receipt notes) and exposure in
MARIAN, the computerised material control and inventory system.
4. Coordinate with procurement department, logistic team, expeditors, suppliers and vendors for timely deliveries
5. Control of Shipping Schedule based on shipping advices for all the material procured from all over the world.
6. Coordinate, supervise, train, guide and motivate under staff for quality and accuracy
7. Implement HSE/EHS regulations at all levels and Maintain / Control housekeeping in the warehouse and
yard to ensure materials are stored in an organized manner creating a safe working environment.
8. Supervise unloading and receiving inspections. Store all packages in the designated area. Inspection as per
Specifications & standards (ASME & ASTM, API, BS etc) quantity and quality check.
9. Material inspection, organize storage in appropriate locations and areas. Non conforming / Overage /
Shortage/Damage (OSD) reports and claims/ non conforming- quarantine, storage in designated areas /
Locations & mark locations for records
10. Prepare MRR (Material Received Reports) and all other documents pertaining to in and out materials.
11. Material identification by colour codes / Specifications/PAMI-Traceability
12. Control of issues to subcontractors and internal departments / Transfers
13. Control of documents – Shipping invoices, Material / test Certificates, purchase order copies, packing list,
MRR, MIV, MSDS for all hazardous products and all other documents pertaining to material control.
14. Submit required reports to the superiors in time
15. Requesting and receiving client's free issue materials,
16. Organise and supervise maintenance of Contractor’s Cranes / Equipments.
17. Material Protection and Preservation. Periodical stock checks and inventory and Reconciliation
18. Control Start up/commissioning/handover materials and capital items.
