Cover Letter; Prince David - Sound/AV Technician

Over the last 10 years, I have used a huge variety of different sound reinforcement systems and wide range of broadcasting equipment.
As a front of house engineer, I have set up, configured and operated reinforcement systems ranging from small to large festival systems (point source and line array) with an independant monitor mixer, monitors from FOH, FOH from the side of stage and everything in between.I am confident and experienced working with most analogue and digital consoles from an 8-channel Mackie to a 44+4 Midas Heritage 3000 or and have experience (and an opinion) on most ‘industry standard’ processors, multi-FX units and equalizers.
As a monitor engineer, I am at home mixing wedges, side-fills, drum-fills, in-ear monitors or any combination thereof.
I have intimate experience using the following professional sound reinforcement equipment. This list is by no means comprehensive:
Sound Craft Vi Series, Studer Vista 5,Yamaha PM5D / M7CL / LS9 digital consoles.
Large format analogue consoles such as Soundcraft MH2/GB8.

Line array and point source loudspeaker systems by Martin Audio,d&b, EAW,JBL VRX,VERTEC’s
XTA, BSS, Meyer Sound, Shure and dbx DSP,Dolby Lake system controllers.
UHF microphone and IEM systems by Sennheiser and Shure.
I also have considerable experience using Avid Pro Tools HD and LE systems as well as ¼” - 2” multi-track tape machines such as the Studer A80 or digital recorder formats including DTRS and DAT.
Have been working in Entertainment and hospitality industry as AV and Sound Technician for the past years.Theater production shows,lighting and rigging.AV network controllers such as AMX,Symnet,Extron,Kramer.
Responsible for the smooth operation and trouble shooting of entertainment systems.working knowledge of A/V equipment,technically proficient with different types of commercial systems including; projectors and projection systems,audio,switching,media systems and control panels.
Pulling/crimping/terminating Fiber and Ethernet cables and connecting components as required by blueprints and designs. 
Maintenance and replacement of damaged parts fixtures,lamps,speakers,grills and projector lamps.
Hold’s Certification in Pyro Safety Training,AWP- Genie Aerial Working Platform Operator Training,Crowd Management and Crisis Management
