Profile
My overarching research interests revolve around industrial microbial biotechnology and bioremediation by the study of different microcosm, the metabolic interactions between microbial communities, exploring same for specific applications, their biochemical environment and the resulting modifications of the available substrates to value added products and environmental microbiology. I use a combination of microbial biotechnology and chemistry (Screening microbes, Enzyme purification by column chromatography for specific reactions, specific assay methods, PCR, etc.), wet chemistry, electrochemistry and analytical techniques (TLC, HPLC, GC, LCMS, NMR etc.) to generate the data to answer the how, who, where and different other questions of microbial ecology and microbial biotechnology. More specifically I am interested to participate in the global initiative towards developing green and sustainable technology by applying functional areas of microbial biotechnology for the industrial and biomedical applications. As well as studying the activities of the microbiological community, for simultaneous application of it for different areas of ecosystem and human well-being.
