• Handel nomination of products from China, Hongkong & Shanghai and coordinating with supplier to handover the cargo to forwarder before the airline cut off time on daily basis and conveying the information to freight forwarders regarding cargo space, also arranging the cargo delivery to forwarder warehouse and coordination with CHA for the clearance of Import shipments at all four port locations
• Coordinate with finance & accounts for arranging the custom duties with bank for the timely clearances of shipment
• Coordinate with Ericsson team for NOC of each shipment before taking material out from Custom premises
• Preparing & releasing PO in SAP system to enable warehouse to make GRN of import material
• Preparing online MSAI Certificate
• Coordinate with (Pan India) warehouse for Damages/shortage data

Vendor Payable Management
• Design & Map the billing of SOP signed between Micromax and Vendors & Internal Finance Team
• Managing & verify (PAN INDIA) vendor freight bills, keeping track of received invoices cost centre wise, updating reason for hold and unprocessed bills getting timely approval on required bills follow up on pending bills, responding payment reminder, weekly payable report and quarterly payable account reconciliations and get NOC
• Coordinate with transporter and warehouse to avoid any vehicle detention at offloading point
• Coordinate with commercial department regarding renewal of contracts or commercial for (CHA & forwarders & Transporters) vendors (PAN INDIA)
• Provide input to finance team to ensure correct provisions
• Liaising with finance & accounts to ensure timely release of payments to forwarder, CHA and transporters

May’08-March’15 -Johnson & Johnson Limited., Gurgaon-Senior Executive Accounts

J&J is one of the largest US based health care company which deals in medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals and vision care.

Key Result Areas: Accounts Payable & Operations
• Processing transportation bills (PAN India) in ERP according to the authorization matrix of individuals in the company.
• Processing the documentation related to foreign remittance & import payments (A2 & A1)
• Liaising with finance & accounts for vendors payments by building payment batches, obtaining necessary approvals, running the payment request report
• Handled AP queries and calls dealt with calls from transporter & internal customers chasing for payment of invoices / statements /remittance advises
• Preparation of provisions/expenses payable details for month end closing
• Monitoring liabilities (like billed and unbilled liabilities), unadjusted advances.
Periodical Activities & MIS Reporting
• Vendor payable reconciliation on monthly basis
• Coordinating and necessary dealing with internal auditor & statutory auditors
• Preparing report of budget vs. actual expenses & GL head wise vs. actual booking for analysing purposes.
Operations & Customer Services
• Follow up with internal teams and sales employee for collection and allocation of payments
• Preparing weakly statement of receivables according to customer ageing
• Coordination with sales employee for preparing bank guarantee & EMD & quotation submission managed existing clients; followed-up with debtors & creditors for payment
• Processing of client purchase orders/contract, communication & coordination with sales employee regarding order status & progress required approvals
