1. Mechanical designing of static equipment like Storage tank, Pressure vessels, Drums, Columns utilized in Oil and gas, Refinery, Coal based power plant, Gas power plant.
2. Preparation of Design calculations for Storage Tanks like Thickness calculations for Shell, Bottom, Roof plate, Seismic Analysis, Wind Analysis, Anchorage design, Wind girder, Curb Angle selection, Rafter and Venting calculation.
3. Vendor drawing review of review of Major items like Pressure vessels, KO Drums, Separators, Columns, Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers, Air Coolers.
4. knowledge of applicable industry codes such as: API 650, AWWA D100, NFPA 30, BS 2654, ASME B&PV Code (Section VIII Div1), ASME Codes (B31.1 and B31.3).
5. Competent use of software such as PVElite, CodeCalc, Auto CAD and knowledge in Industry specific software as SAP, PIRS.
6. Worked in project involving in both FEED and Detail Design and having experience with Preparation of Mechanical datasheets (MDs), Material requisitions (MRs), Technical bid clarifications (TQs), Technical bid evaluations (TBEs), Purchase requisitions. Waiver request if required.
7. Review and Approval of MTO, MRIR, Packing list, SPIR form.
8. Attending client and subcontractors meetings and summarizing minutes of meeting accordingly.
9. Develop appropriate solutions for Mechanical issues by coordinating with inter departments to meet Project milestones.
10. Responsible for all technical issues with Client and Subcontractors.
