Profile
I’m a MSc geoscientist/geologist freshly graduated by the University of Coimbra (Portugal) in Petroleum Geology. During my academic route I worked hard in order to be successful and I started to build a professional future, participating in meetings, experiences abroad, short courses and scientific publications. After that I developed an internship in Spain and now I’m searching for professional experience! I believe that I can be an excellent professional because I’m open to new ideas and I’m always prepared to learn more. Besides that I consider myself a tolerant person, who really enjoy working as a team.
My area of expertise is the study of the foraminiferal assemblages in rock samples (sample preparation, microscopic analysis, biostratigraphy and determination of palaeoenvironmental conditions). I have experience with microfacies analysis techniques under petrographic microscope and sample preparation lab techniques for geochemical analysis. Experience with fieldwork and with analysis and description of cores. Good communication and expression skills in English, Spanish and French.
