Working as a network engineer responsible for Implementation, configuration and maintenance of Network devices. Installation & configuration of the Cisco Routers and Switches Trouble shooting LAN & WAN issues. Maintaining the backup of IOS, Start-up and running Configuration. Configuring VTY lines and IP Addresses & Password at various interfaces and Password Recovery. Implementing Static, Dynamic and Default route to connect ISP Planning, Implementing and troubleshooting WAN technologies. Configuring Routing Protocols (Static, RIP & OSPF) Basic Trouble Shooting. Creating Tickets and assigning to the Concern Teams (Remedy and Seibel). Responsible for solving the trouble tickets raised by users without violating the SLA. Handling critical customer support, issue of both internal and external customers to avoid escalation. Disaster Recovery program on location switches and Routers. Responsible for handling L1 issues related to the location server. Monitoring the network devices(Cacti, OSS, Syslogs Messages) In this role I was responsible for taking all the issues related to the LAN which includes Network Connectivity issue, port enabling, and L2 switch configuration. Handling video conferencing (Cisco Telepresence). Cisco VOIP maintenance, assignment, configuration and troubleshooting. Creating User Profiles in Cisco Unified Call Manager. Basic Trouble shooting in Cisco Ip phones. Support (intranet, internet, remote access, printer etc) configuration and troubleshooting. Coordinate with the network support team for enabling the LAN port as per project requirement
