I have been working for 14 years in oil and gas industry in: Middle East (Oman - Musandam area, ADMA OPCO - offshore Abu Dhabi), Brazil (ENI Saipem - offshore FPSO Vitoria) and Romania (OMV - PETROM, Offshore Black Sea).
Now I am working as Maintenance Supervisor for Petrofac in Musandam Gas Plant (Oman), project owned by Oman Oil Company E&P. As the head of the maintenance team (mechanical, electrical and instrumentation), I have overall responsibility for maintenance planning and execution. During the commissioning and start-up phase, I participated from the client side on the commissioning and start-up of plant equipment. Also I was in charge of CMMS correct implementation for all plant equipment/systems; assure the availability for the 2 years spare in the warehouse setting the minimum safety stock and min/max reordering level; develop 5 Years Plan; Lifting equipment/accessories and safety critical elements to be all identified / available / certified; vendor documentation availability and maintenance contracts in place.
I have advanced experience in static and rotating equipment ROTATING equipment (air and gas compressor, rotary lobe/screw/vane pumps but especially in gas turbines generators and gas compressors – positive displacement / reciprocating / double acting) and STATIC equipment (wellheads, tanks, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, Safety Critical Elements) and performing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activity.
Specialized in finding the failure root cause for pumps, compressors and gas generators, also in Single Buoy Mooring (SBM Offshore) maintenance and all arrangements for crude oil offload.
I have worked for 14 years in various roles and locations (most of them offshore): Maintenance Planner, Mechanical Supervisor and Maintenance Superintendent, this allowing me to have a clear perspective what maintenance is and how it can be improved in the oil and gas field.
I participated on green field projects (commissioning and start-up of all Musandam Gas Plant’s equipment – Oman and two new Unman Wellhead Towers – offshore Abu Dhabi) but also brown field projects (upgrading the gas compression system by installing, commissioning and start-up of 3 new gas compressors; upgrading the power generation system with a new gas turbine).
I am familiar with international standards, like (but not resuming to): API, ASME, ASTM, ISO.
I have a valid BOSIET (OPITO) certificate available until 2018 and Lifting Supervisor training – Level 3 (TUV certificate).
I have MAXIMO, SAP, AMOS and Oracle CMMS training and experience.
I have Bachelor degree and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
As performance, in Brazil I radically improved maintenance mechanical KPI’s in just 6 months and in UAE for the year 2013 I had the best performance regarding the Christmas Trees maintenance repair for of Umm Shaif Super Complex.
I am organized, planned, precise with a fair-play attitude, with respect for the others, always looking to reach the targets in a safe way. Open to learn new things and to share. I have excellent English and intermediate level with Portuguese and Italian. I have excellent communication skills this supporting me to improve my job KPI’s and to integrate easily into teams.
