Effectively conceptualized and completed various operations pertaining to maintenance repair and up keeping of various process equipments. ROLE & RESPOSIBILITY


Spares and Consumables Management:


Spare part planning of critical machines to reduce downtime, Identification of spare parts, forecasting of spare parts requirement.
Inventory analysis, spare parts inspection, Indent tracking, spares approval, replacement of worn out spares, reconditioning of spare part

Spare part development of non-std items, vendor liasioning and Vendor development

Updating commercial knowledge on spares, pending spares follow up, AMC follow up, follow up with accounts, production, procurement/logistics, escalation of critical challenges


Resource, Manpower and Facility Management:


Co-operating and contributing in optimum utilization of resources, manpower and facility.
Managing workloads of colleagues in the shifts, maintaining cost inventory, training/ skilling process/production engineers for autonomous maintenance
Quality control initiatives, utility maintenance ,design out maintenance, promoting Energy Efficiency systems, escalating training needs of self and team to seniors, ,learning resource utilization in non-productive time, get trained in cross-board maintenance.





Maintenance record management:

Ensuring activities, results and initiatives are documented on time in pre-decided formats
Tracking key maintenance parameters, reporting measures to the managers on daily /weekly basis, maintaining records of PM status and kaizens done, maintain record of improvements, problems corrected/faced on m/c for benefit of the team.



Strategic Maintenance:

Automation and indigenization of machines through own tool room, Sync of Maintenance Planner with production schedule
Development and execution of Maintenance activity ready reckoner (with itemised task, material lead time, material req,man hrs, cost estimation).
Manpower allocations (defining ratios) based on projects, no. and complexity of machines, shifts ,production pressure etc.,
Aligning to TQM principles to boost line and lean maintenance functions, quarterly critical assessment of machines for RCM.
Project Management(commissioning, erection, dismantling, installations of m/cs).



Electrical Maintenance Board:

Installing, Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical equipment, outlets and circuits.
Routine testing, Inspection and maintenance of Fire alarm system- its sensor, enunciators and calibrating sensitivity.
Other Utility and Facility Maintenance that includes, Generators, Lighting, internal and external wiring.
Annual Energy Audits to identify energy conservation areas.
Maintaining supplies inventory by checking electrical material stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for electrical material; reviewing and getting invoices approved.
Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment
Following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment:
Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, such as conveyors, following electrical code and blueprints, using hand tools and voltage tester.
Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connect cables and wires between machines and equipment, following manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints, using hand tools and test equipment.
Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, using test equipment, and replace damaged or broken wires and cables, using hand tools.
Replaces faulty electrical components of machine, such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices, using hand tools.
Routine maintenance, installation and integration of various types of process control instrumentation equipment such as transmitters, controllers, integrators, recorders.
Sensors Used for Temperature, Pressure, Position Control, Read Switches, image Sensor and final drive elements. Make repairs to electrical power, motor and motor control circuits.
Fault analysis of hard wire relay logic, motor control circuits, motor power circuits and common utility / lighting circuits;
Fault analysis of PLC based systems, VFD & Servo systems with control logic modification if required.

AC/DC MOTOR UP 1500 KW : SIEMENS/KIRLOSKAR/CHINA
Visually checking and observation of AC/DC motor as per schedule plan in continues running plants
Testing of AC motor by insulation, resistance, inductance and continuity test.
Testing of AC motors and rectification of related problems..
Maintenance of AC motors as per schedule like bearing, motor resistance, winding to body resistance, abnormal sound motor connection checking etc.
Maintenance of DC motors as per schedule like carbon brush checking, commutator cleaning, rocker arm tightening,fild and armature connection checking ,encoder/coupling checking etc.

TRANSFORMER/MCC/PCC/EOT CRANE : CG/SIEMENS/KRONE/UNICON
Maintenance of MCC/PCC panel like busbar checking, tightening, cleaning of dust, all power and control connection and cable checking and tightening work etc.
