With over 20 years of experience within the Retail, Sales and Management sector I have developed a proven track record in developing and managing profitable teams, Stores and Regions. As an ambitious, hardworking and dedicated senior manager I have managed multiple sites over a large geographical region with a combined turnover of over £90 million (which has included up to 20 sites and teams of up to 150+ staff). Ranging from single sits to multiple sites I have successfully transformed loss making and failing stores to produce profits and into top 10 stores within number of companies through spending quality time with my teams helping and developing them. My typical day is split into at least 80% front line presence through leading by example and training of my teams and maximum of 20% carrying out admin duty normally before trading times to increase spend time with my teams. With a strong aptitude of people and process management I have been able to recruit, train and mentor individuals from junior roles through to senior management roles within my teams and companies. I am a forward thinking positive individuals with a strong ability to solve problems and make important timely decisions. The success achieved has also been due to implementing a range of sales, product and operational training strategies in developing teams, stores and regions. In management communication takes a vital role and through years of experience I have develop the ability to communicate with individuals from a range of diverse ages, backgrounds cultures, religions and seniority. Cultivating with a strong team working ethos which has ensured me to develop some of my most successful teams to date. My decisions are strategic and commercially orientated with exceptional organisation, planning skills and with attitude that all goals and deadlines have to be achieved on agreed timelines same as any other KPI. I thriving being involved in highly pressurised and challenging situations as it brings the best out of me. I am adaptable and confident, with excellent interpersonal allowing me to communicate, negotiate, influence and establish positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
