Over 30 years of post graduate experience in project management and site supervision of infrastructure construction and operation and maintenance projects, contract start-up and hand-over to contractors, technical and compliance audits, development of standard operating procedures, method statements, methodologies, specifications and manuals for STW’s, pumping stations, networks and associated structures. Over the years also involved in the design of sewerage and drainage networks, liaising with stakeholders for NOCs and approvals, preparing design reports and tender/contract documents and providing home office support during construction

20 years in wastewater/water asset management, including computerised asset management systems (GIS based), benchmarking studies, asset management and drainage area planning, strategy development, asset condition and efficiency assessment and management of digital mapping systems, sewerage and drainage design and infrastructure supervision, operation and maintenance of water/wastewater and irrigation, storm water drainage and foul water networks, landscaping, including pumping stations and wastewater treatment works. Experience also includes pipeline renovation techniques such as pipe lining, pipe jacking/micro-tunneling, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), pipe bursting and localised pipeline repairs.

Extensive experience in contracts administration/management, contractor prequalification, production of asset registers, RFPs and tender documents preparation, tender evaluation, assessment and recommendation, contract final accounts & close-out reports. Preparation of O&M manuals, specifications, guidelines and procedural documentations, as well as, environmental impact assessment consultancy, development and implementation of compliance standards for recycled water, bio-solids and trade effluent.
