Md. Jamal Uddin is a Human Resource Professional with demonstrated expertise in responsible business, social and employee engagement, organizational development and capacity building with 12 years’ experience in many private companies in Bangladesh. Mr. Jamal’s career includes work in the areas of coaching and training HR staff to create employment opportunities for disadvantaged people in rural and urban settlements. Most recently, he completed assignments in the Garments Industry in Bangladesh where he analyzed people and organizational capacity to set up responsible business models for better employment and higher productivity. He was also involved in projects to increase the purchasing ability of the poor garments worker through forming fair price shops inside the factory premises. He also made an income generating employee welfare fund model in the ready-made garments (RMG) industry through which poor garments workers got access to expensive medical funds and emergency loans.
Mr. Jamal has working experience in the food industry, FMCG, and heavy industries in the human resource development and employee engagement area. He also has expertise on supply chain management and Bangladesh industrial and labour laws.
