Mark Reyneke

A seasoned QA/QC professional with more than 25 years of Quality Management experience. Have been in Quality Manager roles for the past sixteen years, have 12 years of International Oil and Gas experience in both Onshore and Offshore Projects, and have been working in the Middle East, in the UAE for the past 9 years. Have been exposed to both New build (Greenfield) and Maintenance/Upgrade (brownfield) projects, and worked on Tank Construction/Installations, Pipelines (incl weight coated under sea pipelines), FPSO’s, Topside modules, Jack up rigs, Barges, Gas platforms, FLNG’s, Turret Mooring Systems, and Onshore Gas Compression and process and treating plants. Earlier Projects worked on include: Power generation and distribution, Smelters, Paper and Pulp mills, Acid plants, Refineries.
Qualifications include a 3 year Mechanical Engineering Diploma (NTC 6 – Jhb Technical College SA) after completing a full apprenticeship as a Plater/Boilermaker (Olifantsfontein - certified), supplemented by a one year Diploma’s in Project Management (Damelin), one year Diploma in Business Management (UNISA–SBL), and a one year diploma in Quality Management (BSI).
Certifications include IRCA Lead Auditor status, NACE level 3 Coating Inspector, SAIW level 2 Welding Inspector, International Institute of Welding (IIW) Comprehensive level welding Inspector, Inspector of pressurized equipment (IPE), NDT evaluator in RT, UT, MT and PT, and NEBOSH International General Certification (IGC) in Health and Safety
