Profile
Pipe inspector specialized in the use of
CCTV cameras. This equipment consists of motorized pipe inspection cameras that, by means of a CCTV system, record internal images in the same way that a complete and precise diagnosis is obtained to determine the state of the pipeline and locate possible failures.
The robot that carries it is the one in charge of positioning itself in the exact area to be inspected and of positioning the camera in the centre of the section throughout the whole inspection range.
It is the most efficient method of inspecting pipes in terms of accuracy and cost to determine the condition of the sewerage network.
For the viewing of pipes we have different types of professional cameras with which we can access different types of pipes and ducts to view their interior and detect anomalies due to ageing and wear of the installations or construction defects.
These are devices that record images in colour, high definition and with independent lighting. They allow the viewing and recording in real time of the state of the installations, as well as the instantaneous capture of specific points.
This information, coordinated with the training and experience of our technicians, allows us to identify the existence and location of anomalies or potential sources of faults, as well as the elaboration of quality control of a new installation, or one that is being revised.
The cameras that are mounted on the trolley indicate on the screen the distance and inclination at all times. On the one hand we have larger cameras that have extendable arms and zoom cameras that allow the inspection of large pipes, and micro-cameras that allow the inspection of 40mm pipes.
The risk of leaks or obstructions requires a surveillance programme using pipeline inspection cameras to determine their current state and possible maintenance actions, which will be much less costly than any subsequent repair action in larger incidents.
