SHIPBUILDING PROFICIENCIES:

• Develops, implements, and monitors Accuracy control and Dimensional control activities to improve shipbuilding practices and work culture of yard.
• To monitor and maintain weight control activities for Naval Ships as per Weight control policy and record all the relevant data for design department to evaluating.
• Familiar with Line heating forming of steel plates for ship’s curvature sections and to fair the deformed or buckled fabricated components.
• Alignment and fixtures of measure components and assemblies by water level, plumb, spirit level and total station.
• Familiar with TTS (Total transportation system) panel line welding & fabrication.
• Working knowledge and quality checks of Piping system, Outfitting, HVAC, Deck machinery and E/R equipments.
• Demonstrated competence in Ship’s Dock trails & Sea trials
