Operate and monitor the plant and related auxiliaries in a safe and reliable manner to ensure production and provision of uninterrupted steam supply and electric power. The position reports to the Assistant Shift Charge Engineer The primary responsibility of the jobholder is to operate and monitor the plant in a safe and reliable manner ensuring uninterrupted power supply and steam production. The work environment is subject to high noise levels, fumes, gas, high pressure lines, gas leaks, high voltage, high speed rotating equipment. The jobholder is challenged to maintain a high level of good housekeeping and heightened awareness and compliance with safety procedures and standards.
