I am an MBA in Finance/Accounting from IBS Hyderabad, with around 12.4 Years of Work Experience.

Currently I work with AIG as Senior Manager handling a team of 5 resources. I am the Distribution team operations lead for NA business and Canada Region FP&A Operations. I work closely with the Distribution Finance Directors and US/Canada CFO for creating Distribution related Executive Management Reports and Broker related snapshot reports. I manage the team to come up with Budgets and forecasts for LOB. I work closely with the Finance FP&A VP on areas like Financial Decks, Headcount Reports, Flash Reports, Allocations and Accruals reporting.

Prior to AIG, I was with JP Morgan Chase as Sr. Associate and was the Finance contact for the Technology Business of JPMC. I took care of both Domestic and Global Technology which cuts across all lines of Business. I interacted with both global and local technology heads and help them with activities like Budgeting, Forecasting, Head Count Projections, Identifying & Driving Saves Initiatives, Management Reporting, Expense Approvals, Contract Management, Accruals, Allocations, Billing Issues to name a few.

Before JP Morgan, I was with IBM India as Business Finance Manager for Financial Services Sector of the Global Delivery Center, handling of closing activities and also lead the activity to compute the variance between recoveries (at standard cost rates based on utilization) and the actual costs and distribute over/under recovery by country and business segments on quarterly basis at global level. I was the single Finance point of contact for almost 10,000 Headcount and was involved in preparing cost cases for large accounts, Budgeting, Forecasting, Contract Management, Driving Saves Initiatives, Capex Planning/Approvals and Spend analysis. I was also looking into exceptional finance approval on spends outside policy, was Expense Policy Owner and Owner of Learning & Knowledge Expense line with an annual budget of around USD 40M. While at IBM, I even worked for Internal controls team and was responsible for Key Control over Operations (KCO) testing of active IT projects based on the Gobal test plans and procedures and following ANZ OPAL specific procedures. It even involved Highlighting unusual or problem areas for key process controls, providing recommendations of corrective action and providing input into the execution of remediation programs. I had to Impart continuous Education and Training on various IBM Business controls to Project Managers/ Partners to ensure SOX compliance.
