Lasisi Morufu Bsc, Acca, Aca

Morufu is a chartered Accountant of Nigeria by being a professional member of ICAN. His quest for more international exposure/skills made him to gain membership of Association of Certified Chartered Accountants of the United Kingdom (ACCA). He passed all the papers sat for in flying colours and crowned it with a first class degree in Applied Accounting from the prestigious Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom.
Since gotten trained in an Accounting Firm, he has since expanded his skills by leveraging on the Accounting skills to acquire other business Management skills, including human Management.
Morufu’s Experience cuts across various sectors which includes; ICT, Oil and Gas, Hospitality, Agriculture, FMCG, Real Estate and of present, Automotive. His experience in various sectors has further broadened his skills and horizon and he’s always looking at the “bigger picture” when advising on policies, procedures and systems.
An organizer and Lead discussant in three Organizational retreat, Morufu has over the years developed competencies(in addition to Accounting wise competences) in initiating policy decisions that add value, writing of organizational systems and procedures, translating strategic plan into Departmental action plans and defining performance metrics (KPIs) for Key budget holders.
In all the Organizations he has worked, he has always been part of transformation that achieved a double digit growth in Revenue and Net Operating Profit (bottom line) over the years he’s there. This he has been able to achieve by leveraging on his accounting skills to introduce cost control and reduction measures (and therefore burn the fat in the middle line) while also using his experience in many sectors and Management skills acquired over time to advise on measure to boost Revenue (Top line).
