Kevin Daghouz

During my years working in the oil and gas sector I have gained experience in every stage of a project. From design phase to fabrication and delivery phase. I have worked as a design/layout engineer and as a mechanical engineer for companies such as Multiconsult, NLI Engineering and Aker Solutions.
One of the most exiting assignment I had, was on site in one of FMC; s facilities. There I had the position of a QA/QC-engineer with the responsibility of all Statoil fast-track projects on site.

My curiosity to try something new took me to Sweden, where I worked as a Component manager at Volvo Trucks Technologies for 1.5 year. After that, my passion for quality made me take the position as Product quality engineer at Volvo production plan in Gothenburg. There I had the product quality responsibility for the European plants Umeå, Tuve, Gent and Kaluga.
My current assignment is as QHSE Manager for the oil & gas company GVA in Gothenburg. My main roles in the company are to lead, support and coordinate the quality and safety work within the company, performs audits on the different departments in the company as well as suppliers and provide support both internally and externally as well as proactively drive quality issues within the projects.

On the personal perspective, I am a happy, positive, flexible, person that has it very easy to learn new things. My friends find me easy to get along with and also to work with.

Meeting and working with individuals from different cultures and countries is incredible stimulating and have an enriching personal effect on me.
During stressful situations, I strive to keep calm and avoid pulling on me unnecessary anxiety, which can be performance-lowering and may further complicate the situation.

Family and friend are the most important part of my life that is why I try to spend as much time as possible with them on my spare time.
Taking long walk with my wife and daughters is a way for me to relax and get quality time with them.
