Overall Duties and Responsibilities

The primary role and responsibilities are:

• Knowledge in supervision, personnel administration and training of technical and non-technical personnel.
• Proficiency with PC Operating Systems which includes AUTOCAD.
• Provides technical direction and administrative guidance to staff, construction engineers and specialists involved in the development and application of innovative and unique construction theories and methods required by jobsites. Guides and directs support groups providing supplemental drafting assistance to projects.
• Reviews project plans and standard engineering details and specifications for constructability and conformance to regulatory requirements and productivity improvement.
• Recommends changes in design or erection methods when appropriate.
• Advises project team of obvious discrepancies or trends that may be detrimental to the project.
• Calls for technical committee meetings when required.
• Establishes milestones for the total project or major portions of the project. Reviews project work activities to ensure achieve of project milestones.
• Leads the site monitoring team.
• Setup of the Construction Management Field Office utilizing company policies and procedures.
• Establish and maintain relationships and develop a high level of trust and credibility with owners, contractors, and suppliers.
• Coordinate overall field effort including monitoring erection activities, material deliver, contractor’s compliance with safety, schedule, start up, and testing activities.
• Reviews, analyzes, and reports both weekly and monthly on
Project safety, quality performance, costs, and schedule; recommends appropriate action to the Project director to maintain the project plan.
• Conduct the Daily contractor meetings on project progress and mitigating plans.
• Conduct the monthly progress and contractor management meetings.
• Monitor EPC Contractor implementation of the following polices and systems.
o Project safety program.
o Project quality assurance.
o Project controls.
o Project construction management procedures.
o Materials management procedures.
o Project start up and testing plan.
• Coordinate with the client to approve Work Authorizations, contractor progress payments, and final payments to suppliers and contractors.
• Coordinate with client on change order management for construction contracts.
• Coordinate client to resolve all back charges and Construction
Contractor claims. Prepare Project Specific Contractual Strategy.
• Draft contractual correspondence for client review and signature.
• Monitor collection of conformed to construction records, and other contract closeout activities.

• 1. Working as CONSTRUCTION MANAGER in M R AL KHATHLAN contracting company from 05 NOV 2016 to 10 DEC 2018.
o Executed the SHUT DOWN TIE-IN for the “upgrade of closed drain and dewatering system at SAUDI ARAMCO “Riyadh refinery”.
• The tie-in activity during the shutdown (APR “17) in the refinery.
• 170 tie-in(service) includes from amine to various utilities line for the purpose of executing the upgrade of closed drain project. FABRICATION 65000 DIA INCH PIPING.
o Handling the UPGRADE SULFUR HANDLING AND EXPORT FACILITIES project in King Fahad Industrial Port in Jubail.
• Review of Engg documents.
• Procuring the capital project materials as per the SAUDI ARAMCO standard.
• Supervising the team of engineers for the
-Execution of turnaround project.
-For construction activities.
-Review of RFQ documents
-Fabrication of piping spools Total: 35,000 DIA INCH.
- Hydro test of pipe spools.

• 2. Worked as PROJECT MANAGER in GULF RIYADAH Co. LTD.-KSA from 06/JUNE/2014 to 12/JULY/2016.
• EPC: Procurement and construction of metering skid (medium size) to TASNEE under third party project division of SAUDI ARAMCO with ARAMCO procedure includes
-Civil.
-Piping,
-Electrical,
-Instrumentation,
-Communication
-Static equipment such as filter and metering skid related to the delivery
System including the HOT TAPPING of the Sales Gas header.
-The project purpose is to supply the fuel gas to the consumer with the
Measuring (metering) system for the billing under the ministry of
Petroleum.
Value of the project: 20 Million USD.
• EPC: Procurement and construction of metering skid (small size) to ARCELOR MITTAL under third party project division of SAUDI ARAMCO with ARAMCO procedure includes

• 3. Worked as PROJECT MANAGER in VK INDUSTRIES from SEP 2010 to 15 MAY 2014.

• 4. Worked as PROJECT MANAGER in Galfar Al Misnad Engg. & Cont. WLL -Qatar from Jan 2010 to Sep 2010 for the Project “EPIC for document from FEED to final completion.
-Produced Water Treatment and Injection” in Dukhan-Qatar for QP.
-Coordination with DESIGN consultant for completion of Design Engg. activity.

• 6. Worked as SENIOR MANAGER-PROJECTS in BGR ENERGY SYSTEMS LTD., CHENNAI, an LSTK company in the Power plant industry, Environmental Engg Division from 2nd July 2007 to 30th May 2008.
• Fab& supply of DEAERATOR to TNEB Valathur.
• Review of ENGG Deliverables.
• Fab & supply of DEAERATOR to BHEL.
• Preparation of bidding and submitting the document for the new contract.
• Evaluation and finalization of vendor and sub-contractor.

• Monitoring the fabrication of vessel in the vendor facility at various stages.

• 7. Worked in Reliance Industries Ltd, Jamnagar as a CONSULTANT from 01/JAN/07 to 25/JUNE/07.EPC in expansion of refinery (JERP) in DTA interface dept.
• Review of Detailed Design Engg document.
• Coordination with civil, planning, fabrication shop and executing the erection/installation of steel structure, static equipments, rotary equipments and piping in the existing plant which are part of the new project.
• Reporting to the construction manager and Supervises the team of engineers, supervisors, technicians for the complete satisfactory of the work.
• Preparation of work schedule, work plan and achieving the same.
• Carrying out the required modification and tie-in in various existing plant (crude, Merox, aromatics) for the new plant during Shut down, line shut down or NSD as the case may be.
• Take care of required HSE norms for the execution of shut down operation.

• 8. Worked in Lahoud Engineering co. as a Mechanical SUPDT. From June 2005 to March 2006 in RasLaffan B “IWPP” Project, Doha, Qatar.
• Complete in charge for the Erection/ installation of Steel structures, Piping, Static and Rotary equipment for the IWPP& GTL PLANT
• Reporting to the site manager. Supervises the team of engineers, supervisors, technicians for the complete satisfactory of the client.
• Planning, executing the project in an efficient way to minimize the cost.
• Solve the day to day problem in the site by coordinating with the client.
• Review the available construction drawing and proceed with the erection / installation of Steel Structure/Piping/Static/Rotary equipment.
• Coordination with the material dept & QC Dept for the uninterrupted supply of material for execution.
• Complete inspection of all the mechanical items (coordinates, orientation, and verticality) with the consultant.

• 9. Worked as Construction Manager in BAHRAIN, ALAHLAM technical and construction services from March 2001 to Apr 2004

• A unit having 3 divisions of edible oil refinery, solvent extraction plant and desalination plant.
• Dealing with quality control, quality assurance of welded, machined and fabricated items for these plants and erection of static, rotary and steel structure in the plant and site.
• Work in progress (or) stage inspection includes ensuring the quality of welding during fabrication at shop and erection at site by NDT methods like P.T., V.T.
• Design of tanks & Steel structure as per the requirement and Preparation of BOQ for the designed component.
• Qualification of welders, welding operation, welding materials and consumables as per the requirements of ASME Sec IX.
• Production planning and execution to carry out repair and inspection of various tanks in the plant.

• 11. Worked as an Engineer in Sree Balajee Fine Chemical Company, a Fertilizer company manufacturing Zinc Sulphate from May 1993 to Dec 1995.
• Associated with Design, Fabrication, Inspection & Erection of tanks for storage of sulphuric acid, coal fired boiler, zinc sulphate solutions and Reactor tanks associated with production of fertilizer.
• Associated with preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery & equipments such as ammonia compressor, reactor, centrifuges, dry grinding machines, sheaving m/c, gear boxes, agitators, motors, switches and electrical installations.

• 12. Worked as a Production Engineer in Vanguard Industries, Trichy an Ancillary Unit to BHEL from Aug 1986 to May 1993.
