I have a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and Masters in Project Management (by Correspondence while working in current job). And I have experience in Basic & Detailed engineering, Procurement, Vender Discussion, Cross function discussion & co-ordination, Quality Inspection at Venders site, Erection Supervision, Day-Day by execution planning, Project execution monitoring & control, Testing, Commissioning, Stabilization, Maintenance and Training of Electrical & Automation field in 5 MTPA Integrated Steel Plant with Twin CONARC (AC Arc Furnace) Furnace, Ladle Furnace, CSP Continuous Casting Plant & Thick Slab caster.
In my current company, I have designed various construction & equipment layouts in AutoCAD, handled Power System equipment’s with various manufactures like Siemens, L&T, Cummins, Caterpillar, Areva and Automation equipment’s with Siemens, ABB Drives. And executed various modifications to minimize the problems & increase high equipment reliability, operation & production. Developed many systematic approaches for Predictive & Preventive maintenance practices, reduce unsafe actions, and took initiative to reduce energy consumptions.
Executed two projects under Sig-Sigma Green Belt about reduction of repeated breakdown by machine design modification and Power consumption reduction. And many of small QC projects to avoid breakdowns & improvement in machine reliability.
Currently working as an Area In-charge of Steel Making Plant Power System with 2 nos. of Sub-stations & field ECRs. And additional responsibility for Implementation & maintaining of ISO system like ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, OSHAS 18001, ISO14001, ISO 50001, I’m certified Plant Internal auditor for the above system and Lead Auditee among SMP.
My written and oral communication skills are excellent and I enjoy working as part of a team, as well as liaising with OEM, Project companies and contractors. I enjoy the company and support of my peers while being able to manage my priorities and work. My day-to-day job involves efficiently managing others, communicating complex data to the technical team.

Problem-solving and troubleshooting are tasks which I face on a daily basis and am confident at resolving. When there is an issue, as often happens in Power System, Machine, and Automation. I am sure to investigate the issue fully, scope out the best methods to resolve it, probe implications of each method, and communicate the data clearly with all relevant team members, documenting the same in History and execute required action to avoid the same in future.
