Having 20 years’ experience in the IT Industry, including more than 16 years as an Oracle Database Administrator.Oracle Certified DBA, Oracle Exadata Certified Implementation Specialist (OCS),also an Oracle Certified Professional for Developer 2000 and Forms/ Reports 6i. Having varied experience in Managerial and Individual Contributor roles comprising of Oracle and ExadataDatabase Administration, Product Support, Application Management, Enterprise IT Management. Previously workedas Principal Consultant with Genpact, Hyderabad, on Oracle 12c, 11g, 10g, 9i databases and involved in managing Projects and Teams on Database Administration, Oracle Applications administration (Apps DBA), Backup and Recovery, Performance Tuning. Have been involved in Client interaction to exploreand enhance business opportunities, resolve Delivery issues. Well versed with PMO functions like coordinating with Sales, Delivery, Finance, Resourcing teams on Revenue Assurance – Revenue- Margin forecasting, Revenue-Margin tracking, monitoring Financial health of projects – Budgeting, Invoices-Revenue generation, collections, Profit Margins etc. Also well-versed in tracking open SOWs, working with Sales, Delivery, Finance and HR teams for resolving issues.
Have been managing the installations and maintenance of high availability databases using Data Guard / Standby Databases and RAC (Real Application Clusters) on Unix/ Linux and Windows environments,Exadata and supporting Oracle Databases on E.R.P. environments like SAP, Oracle Applications, Peoplesoft and Siebel comprising of data running upto 10 Terabytes. Have been working in diversified environments and have performed varied activities from simple database/ oracle installations to managing 24x7 databases of varying size and complexity. Have been involved in Data Modeling, Software Development, System Integration and Implementation activities. Fully conversant with all the stages of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) as well as Project Management.
