Profile
I am UruguayanItalian architect trained at the School of Architecture at the University of the Republic (Farq / UdelaR).
I would like to highlight the work of the "Arena da Baixada" stadium in Curitiba Host City for the FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014, where I work as Architect Coordinator of the Architectonic Project and all the Project Engineering (Structure, HVAC, Sanitary, Gas, Power, IT, LEED). At the worksite, which began in October 2011, because of the Club opted for a management model, the Architecture Studio took a leading role in coordinating, with the Purchasing Department and the Strategic Planning of the work. I worked as the Coordinator Architect of an Uruguayan and Brazilian Team Architects, and as a permanent member of the Planning Team Work. Because of the process was too long and with many stakeholders was necessary to adapt the Project and work Schedules, for new technological requirements, operational or strategic, these actors were FIFA (semiquarterly inspections), the Club and AEG Facilites (company responsible for operating the stadium after the World Cup).
Nowadays I am living in Montevideo, continuous working for Sports Architecture but now in a 10000 people indoor Arena called AntelArena, please see the link for more information (http://www.antel.com.uy/antel/personas-y-hogares/arena).
Yours faithfully,
José Ignacio Masena Vera
