Registered Electrical Engineer with PMP and MSc. Project Management - 15 years plus working experience.

I hold MSc. Project Management of Cavendish University and BSc. (Hons.) Electrical Engineering of Makerere University. I am registered engineer by Uganda Engineers Registration Board [No. 868] and a certified project manager by the Project Management Institute [PMP No. 1751452], a Corporate Member of the Uganda Institute of Professional Engineers [UIPE, No. PE903], Registered Engineer by Uganda Engineers Registration Board [ERB No. 868], Member Project Management Institute [PMI ID 3107106] and Director for Members and Volunteers with PMI Uganda Chapter.

My career experience spans over 15 years mainly with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Uganda where I worked for over 9 years and later on MTN Uganda for the rest of my career years. During this 15 year period I have successfully managed over 30 projects in the areas of power, transmission, subscriber registration, radio optimization, charging and aeronautics/aviation with a total worth of over US$ 20 million. Some projects had individual worth of over US$ 5.8 million. I have also been involved in planning for resources and new installations, supervising human resources [both employees and contractors], specifying technical bid requirements, evaluating tenders, change management, re-engineering business processes, budgeting, organizing workshops, research, problem solving, writing minutes, developing procedures, business reporting, keeping spares inventory, maintenance of various aeronautical telecommunications installations in Uganda, writing Management Briefs, making presentations to Senior Management, registering and analyzing data for over 11 million mobile telephone subscriber profiles, developing operational databases, monitoring and controlling projects, knowledge transfer and training on several aeronautical systems and business management knowledge areas.
