I have been working for more than twenty (20) years in the field of Materials & Logistics operations & management in the Oil & Gas sector. My previous employer, Swiber Offshore Construction Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), is involved in the Engineering Design, construction/fabrication, transportation & installation of offshore facilities like topsides & jackets, pipe laying, etc. I was part of that company handling the materials & logistics side from March 23, 2015 until August 14, 2016 as Senior Executive, Logistics (Base Ops.). My work station is at Newcruz Shipyard & Engineering (NSE) located at No. 23 Tuas Crescent, Singapore 638717. My principal function as a Senior Executive, Logistics (Base Ops.), is to coordinate with our Project management team, Vessel team, Procurement team, SCM Transport team & Warehouse team with respect to the movement (in & out) of all materials & project items from our warehouse inclusive of receiving, checking, marking, storing, preservation, issuing, palletizing (W+D), collection & transporting (includes documentation like Shipping Manifest, CIPL).

Before my transfer to Singapore in March 2015, I was assigned as a Senior Materials Coordinator with Swiber Offshore Construction Pte. Ltd. (Brunei) from September 08, 2008 until March 23, 2015. My principal function as a Senior Materials Coordinator is to oversee the whole operation of our warehouse with regards to the receiving, checking, storing, preservation, marking & sending of all materials (project items and equipment & vessel consumables) to offshore using our supply vessel. Ensure the timely delivery of all materials required for our offshore operations without delay 24/7.

Before joining Swiber Offshore Construction Pte. Ltd. (Brunei), I was previously employed by Syarikat Kejuruteraan Sistematik Sdn. Bhd. (SKS) as Senior Material Expeditor from August 2005 to July 2008. SKS is involved in the construction / fabrication of offshore platforms (Topsides & Jackets) for Brunei Shell Petroleum Sdn. Bhd. My principal duty & responsibility is all on the materials side includes SKS purchased materials & Brunei Shell free-issued materials for the project. I am involved on the receiving, checking, marking, colour coding, preservation, storing & issuance of the materials to the fabrication worksites in the yard. Ensure monitoring & timely arrival of primary materials & long lead items to avoid delay on project execution.

Before joining Syarikat Kejuruteraan Sistematik Sdn. Bhd. (SKS), I was also previously employed by Adinin Works & Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (AWE) from November 1995 to July 2005 as a Materials Coordinator. SKS & AWE are 2 different business entities but on the same type of business & contract with Brunei Shell. When AWE completed her contract with Brunei Shell and SKS took over, I was transferred by AWE to work with SKS to do the same job. Hence, my principal duties remains the same.

Based on the above manifestations and to sum up, I have almost 2 years working experience on the Logistics side and also more than eighteen (18) years experience as a Senior Material Coordinator.

On a personal level, I am also excellent in communication (English) both written & spoken. I can also speak & understand the Malay language it is because of my posting in Brunei for more than eighteen (18) years. I can also supervise a number of people in a warehouse. I am computer literate & knows MS Word & Microsoft Excel.
