Profile
I am a PhD researcher in the field of pharmaceutics (drug formulation) at Cairo University; currently looking for an entry level opportunity in the fields of research, academia, and pharmaceutical industry.
My research interests are in the fields of pharmaceutics, biopharmaceutics, and pharmacokinetics ; currently focusing on the following topics: 1] Enhancement of solubility and bioavailability of poorly soluble drugs. 2] Orally disintegrating dosage forms . 3] Application of QbD in drug development. 4]Computational pharmaceutics and insilico evaluation of drug products.
Indeed, I have good hand on experience on various drug developments skills related to formulation including: DSC, FTIR, X-Ray Diffraction, Size determination; Zeta Sizer and Image Analyzer, UV/Vis Spectroscopy, Dissolution Testing .....etc. My expertise includes: controlled release drug delivery systems, microencapsulation techniques, and Solid Dosage Forms manufacturing and evaluation according to the concept of quality by design.
I am an editorial board member of the UK journal of Pharmaceutical and Biosciences (UKJPB) and a peer-reviewer in the following international journals:
1] AAPS PharmSciTech (2014 impact factor 1.64).
2] Pharmaceutical Development and Technology (2014 impact factor 1.202).
Member in the editorial board of the UK journal of Pharmaceutical and Biosciences (UKJPB).
