Job Responsibility
• Managing Sendmail , CRON jobs Disk Management, LVM, Boot Process on linux box
• Planning, Deploying and Configuring REDHAT, Ubuntu Servers.
• Managing Backup and replication throw VEEAM Software.
• Hands-on skills with, different services like , DHCP, NFS, FTP, SSH.NFS.NFS4ACL, setfacl
• Installation and configuration of packages/ software’s in both Linux and Windows environment.
• Scripting Knowledge on shell
• Overview explore on Salt environment.
• Start,stop and Instance provisioning on Rackspace instance ,AWS instance
• Managing system alerts form APPDYNAMICS and NAGIOS,Slack,
• Run-of-business activities included DNS, Apache, and Tomcat configuration management.
• Performing processes management(ps,top,renice,kill)
• Trouble shoots if any CPU or Disk utilization is very high.(TOP,VMSTAT,LSOF,DU,DF,SAR)
• Monitoring and managing MYSQL Server, My SQL Replication(master and slave)
• Taking Bakupand restore on linux server suing scp and tar.
• Internale appliaction deployment on server(Lumberyard,Rancid,talent,)
• Managing task and project on Jira (ticketing tool)
• Working knowledge ok GIT repositry system (git clone,git push,git commit,git fetch,git rebase)
