On completion of my technical qualification i.e. Thre year Diploma in Electrical Engineering , I joined Department of Atomic Energy at Tarapur Atomic Power Station (TAPS),Marashtra in the month of Sept’1979 and worked for;
i) Operation of various process systems and equipment in Nuclear power station at TAPS efficiently from Sept’1979 to Feb’1985.
ii) I completed my graduation in Electrical Engineering from Instute of Engineers,Calcutta in 1986.
iii) Maintenance of Electrical systems and Equipments such as 3.3 kV & 415 Volt switch gears, Station transformers (20MVA,230/3.3 kV) & 264 MVA,12/230 kV capacity), Induction motors various rating up to 1500 HP,3.3 kV, and Emegency DG Sets and 250 Volt DC Battery Banks for efficient and safe operation of in Nuclear power station at TAPS from Feb’1985 to Aug’1994.
iv) Commissioning of 220 kV switch yard and Station transformers (35 MVA,230/6.6 kV rated) at Nuclear power station at Rajasthan Atomic Power Station -3&4 (RAPS-3&4) Sept’1994 to May’1996..
v) Maintenance of Electrical systems and Equipments such as 6.6 kV & 415 Volt switch gears, Station transformers (35 MVA,230/6.6 kV) & 264 MVA,16.5/230 kV capacity), Induction motors various rating up to 2000 kW,6.6 kV, and Emegency DG Sets and 400 Amp hour &2200 Amp hour, 250 Volt DC Battery Banks for efficient and safe operation of in Nuclear power station at Narora Atomic Power Station NAPS from June’1996 to Jan’2009.
vi) Design and Field modifications in electrical and control systems for up-gradation and enhancing the performance of power station in Nuclear power station at Narora Atomic Power Station NAPS from Jan’2009 to Oct’2017.
vii) Co-ordination with Electricty Grid Authorities and UP State power corporation to prevent grid related transients to Narora Atomic Power Station NAPS from Jan’2009 to Oct’2017.Grid co-ordination resulted in zero transient to power station from monthly events due to 220 kV Electricty Grid.
