I have been working in Solar Energy Sector from last 13 years. I have multi-faced hands-on experience in On-Grid, Off-grid solar projects.

My core solar PV project expertise is in leading Technology and Project development/management team in both as Owner and EPC contracting companies. I have worked extensively in various multi discipline role in more than 300MW+ solar projects including 100MW Solar CSP projects. I am expert in Project development, Solar resource analysis and prediction, Project management, Engineering, technical support for bidding & financing, Testing and commissioning, Construction, quality, performance evaluation, Operation and maintenance, bidding related portfolio of the solar projects.

Presently, leading Bidding, Technical and Project management team in the company which won 50MW Solar PV project under bidding process in Jordan. Also working in another project of 50MW under Egypt FIT program.

This experience of project life cycle, starting from Bid development till Performance analysis at Operation and Maintenance phase, will be very much useful for any organization.

Along with the multi-dimension experience, I have been worked in the solar project activity in multi-continental geography such as Asia(India, Jordan, Dubai, Saudi Arabia), Africa (Egypt, Nigeria) and Europe(Spain).

Summary of Skills and Experience:
 Strong Technical and project management skill with more than 13 years of solar energy project development / management and product related experience.
 Hands on experience in Design, development, bidding, engineering, Technical due-diligence, project management, construction management, commissioning, licensing with government agencies and O&M of solar MW scale Grid connected projects, rooftop projects and off-grid solutions.
 Excellent experience in Technical and Project management which complements mutually to effectively handle either or both departments.
 Experienced in organization with the role as Developer, Owner and EPC contractor for solar project. Capable to work as Engineering / Technical Manger, Project Manager, Business Development Manager in EPC as well as Owner.
 Worked in key roles for more than 185MW Solar PV and 100MW Solar CSP successful Project. Along with the above, worked in 325+MW projects as bidding or technical due-diligence which are unsuccessful.
 Experienced in optimization of project parameters for successful competitive bidding, FIT and private projects in Asia, MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region.
 Member of Project Management Institute (PMI) and pursuing the PMP certification.

Engineering & Technical expert:
Leading the Technical and Project Management team which own 50MW Solar PV Project in Jordan under international competitive bidding. Optimization of all the relevant technical parameters and engineering to achieve success.
• Sound knowledge on solar PV based power plant with strong hold on optimal operational concept of the plant. This is also supported by great knowledge and hands on experience in module and array behavior for the variation of weather conditions.
• Good understanding of the Grid code requirement of the region, IEC codes and other local requirements.
• Hands on experience in Solar Power Plant design, engineering, optimization of the PV plant including:
a. Total Detailed Engineering, Engineering review of the solar power plant including Schematics, SLD, Layout, equipment design and engineering, Cabling layout and construction drawings etc.
b. Sound knowledge on plant equipment and its specifications, parameters of actual plant performance parameter and critical parameters. Also experience in the optimization of the same.
c. Solar energy resource assessment and energy predictions using PVSYST, PVSol NASA resource, Meteonorm, Ground station, NREL data sets.
d. Vendor development, evaluation, selection based on the project requirement.
e. Bid preparation and bidding in various regions in Multinational exposure.
f. Site selection for the solar project based on the requirement of the company.
g. Preparation of bill-of-material and costing. Plant optimization and Cost reduction.
h. Sound Knowledge of QA, QC, ESIA and safety requirement for Solar PV Plants. Preparation of Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Method Statements, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), review of Manufacturing Quality plan (MQP).
• The Project and product experience in Grid interactive power plant, Off-grid and roof top systems and Off Grid products development.
• Supporting the Construction team for any engineering related issues.

Project Management:
• Expert in project management and project team leading from project initiation till handover.
• Has robust knowledge of resource and equipment required for Solar PV project and time taken by each activity. This will help to make most accurate budget, SOW, WBS and scheduling, risk reduction and efficient smooth execution of the project.
• Hands on Experience in Solar Power Project management including following:
a. Stakeholder engagement Plan: Engaging with project participants like EPC contractor, Off-taker, external advisors, financial institutes, internal stakeholders like procurement, legal, finance, HR, engineering etc.
b. Scheduling and monitoring Plan: Preparation and monitoring schedule through tools like MS Project, Gantt Chart, PERT Chart, CPM.
c. Project Budget preparation, monitoring and Control.
d. Risk Management Plan: Good understanding of risk related to Solar Projects and the regional Political and Social issue. Able to develop PESTLE, SWAT analysis and risk management plan.
e. Knowledge of ESIA, HSE, Quality control and fire safety norms for the project.
f. Preparation of Communication plan and PMIS for communicating with various stakeholders.
g. Commissioning, performance evaluation, punch-list closure and handover.
h. Handling Contactor and sub-contractor management and review of works.
i. Support in Contract management and claim settlements procedure.
j. Supporting the liaising team to get the desired approval for the project by authorities.
• Good understanding of contractual and legal terms and conditions of the PPA, TCA, EPC contract etc.
• On site Construction Management and day to day operation of the construction activity. Uses dynamic approach for problem or conflict resolution.

Operation & Maintenance Management:
• Preparation of procedure for plant performance monitoring system. Analysis of the result, finding deficiency and preparation of corrective actions.
• Preparation and review of SOPs for maintenance activities. Spare part projection and estimations. Contractor and sub-contractor management.
• Preparation and monitoring of Module cleaning and maintaining the soiling loss within stipulated value.
• Preparation of reports for lenders and stakeholders.
