Currently I am associated with Al Shaheer Corporation Ltd., Pakistan’s leading processed meat exporter and retailer (with renowned brands of “Chef One”, “Meat One” & “Khaas”) ranked amongst the best in Pakistan. Starting industry experience with a complex and newly born growing entity with a speedy growth of 40 percent per annum, independently handling multifarious challenges within reporting infrastructure, gave me enhanced and in-depth technical and practical knowledge and honed my time & pressure management skills.

Major achievements as part of my journey in this organization include:
- Leading successful Company’s Public Listing;
- Leading commercial side of the strategic planning of upcoming meat processing and poultry businesses (with a brand of “Chef One”).
- Microsoft Dynamics AX implementation (in progress);
- Creating entire management/statutory reporting system, right from scratch;
- Preparing dynamic financial models & feasibilities for strategic business opportunities as well as for attracting investments into the organization. The result was:
• launch of a new brand Khaas Meat;
• successfully brought investments of above PKR 500 million in the organization prior to public listing of the organization.
- Successful implementation of vertical integration project and bringing livestock procurement efficiencies by more than 13%.
- Effective Business/Financial reporting and analysis of the group’s affairs helped us to identify benchmarks for a new industry and thereby reducing meat shrinkage/losses with a positive financial impact of around 3 million.

I have served Al Shaheer Foods at multiple levels. Currently I am serving in capacity as a Manager Business Planning & Analysis. Prior to that I was the heading Financial reporting & Special Projects function of the company.

Formerly, 3.5 years of experience in audit and assurance section of BIG 4 audit firm i.e. KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co., Chartered Accountants, had sharpened my skills within internal controls; audit risk assessment; financial reporting and client management areas and enhanced my time / pressures management ability. It provided diversified exposure of Manufacturing, Service Organization, Banking, Brokerage House, Asset Management Companies, Mutual Funds, Textile and Logistics etc.

Additionally, internationally recognized certifications including CICA, ACCA (Final) and CAF (i.e., CA Final from ICAP) have provided me with the technical knowledge necessary for forthcoming practical exposures.

I have also worked on leading softwares like Microsoft Dynamics AX, Oracle Financials, CIS Software, AR Soft, E-Audit and Vector; one of the most sophisticated audit software which is used by KPMG globally.
