My responsibilities are
Forecasting profits and sales, and optimizing the sales volume and profitability of designated product area
Planning budgets and presenting sales forecasts and figures for new ranges
Producing layout plans for stores
Controlling stock levels based on forecasts for the Month/Season
Planning product ranges and preparing sales and stock plans in conjunction with buyers
Liaising with buyers, analysts, stores, suppliers and distributors
Analyzing every aspect of bestsellers ( The bestselling price points, ranges items, colors or styles etc) and ensuring that they reach their full potential
Monitoring slow sellers and taking action to reduce prices or set promotions as necessary;
Gathering information on customers' reactions to products
Analyzing the previous season's sales and reporting on the current season's lines;
Before joining Alam group I was working in India as a state buyer for staples products Reliance Retail Kerala for 5 years , i was joined Reliance Retail in 2008 as a ADM apparel ,and i am promoted as a ASM to SM and Purchase head
