• Handles budget worth Rs. 200 crores every year and monitors inventory of appx Rs. 10,000 crores .
• Responsible for entire administration of Accounts and Finance department entailing preparation, maintenance and monitoring of statutory books of accounts ( Trial Balance, BRS, P & L A/C, Age – wise accounts payables & receivables statements, Balance Sheet, VAT/ Service Tax Returns etc ) and administering the finalization of year - end financial statements.
• Monitoring of Finalization of Accounts , Internal Audit and Statutory Audit of 950 companies.
• Determining Financial Objectives, designing & implementation of Policies and Procedures to facilitate effective Financial Control besides management of Risks through Internal/ Concurrent audit .
• Managing entire gamut of Payroll processing of 2000 employees (Rs 75 crores per annum) involving taxation (Income Tax, TDS, PF, Gratuity, Bonus, Encashment of leave, etc), attendance, fixed & variable entitlements, industrial disputes (Labour Laws and and Corporate Laws) and statutory compliances.
• Arranging Funds from various sources – Fixed Capital/Working Capital and their effective utilization.
• Investment of Surplus funds of Rs. 5000 crores into Financial Market to maximize return on capital. Render advice on strategic investments after carrying out details analysis of Micro/Macro economic parameters.
• Advice personnel/organizations on Assets and Wealth Management.
• Risk assessment and Reduction.
• Accounting and Financial Management Software (ERP) was developed in Visual Basic for use across Indian Air Force in 2005. Imparted training to 240 Accounts personnel pan India in respect of use of Financial Management Software. Providing overall leadership to the entire project team to customize Tally.ERP 9 to generate various statutory accounting & inventory reports for use across India at 950 places ( In progress).
• Redesigned various financial schemes to maximize return worth crores of rupees.
• Authored/compiled a book on Accounting, Inventory and Financial Management consisting of 482 pages.
• As Head of IT Department, Developed and implemented Hospital Administration Software in Visual Basic for one of the renowned Medical Hospital.
• As Project Director (Financial Services System) at the Central Financial Hub in Delhi spearheaded the development of Financial Application Software using Oracle for providing accounting support to 1,50,000 personnel spread over length and breadth of the country resulting in timely action of financial emoluments with zero error.
