• Visualization and implementation of fire alarm cause & effect matrix, VAC mode table and smoke management system.
• Development of system architecture, instrument I/O signal list, instrument tags, data sheets, functions, cable layouts, specifications, control schematics and material requisition.
• Commissioning of BMS controls and HVAC systems - AHUs, VAVs, FCUs, FECs, VFDs, supervisory controllers and field sensors/actuators. Understanding of ASHRAE standards.
• Process control and automation of DCS (STARDOM)- functional block diagrams, ladder logic, control loop diagrams and P&ID. HAZOP study in chemical production plant and cooling plant.
• Application of industrial networking and communication protocols- BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, fieldbus technology, OPC, Vnet/IP and IEC 61850 standards.
• Knowledge of IEC 61508, IEC 61511, BS EN 50128, API, ANSI, IEEE, ISA, & NEC standards.
• Graphical simulation of automation systems - NI LabVIEW, Metasys.
• Project management, MEP coordination and engineering workflow management.
• Analytical reasoning and problem solving, interpersonal communication and customer negotiation.
