Ltd is a Spanish MNC which works globally for Renault & Nissan, Ford, Volkswagen, and GM, is specialized in manufacturing of Body, Trim, Chassis and welding parts & Assemblies and others -Plastic, Rubber and Moulds.  Having 6+ years of hands-on & full time experience in executing projects to Automotive OEMs  Conduct Technical Feasibility Study of new products with customer and in-house CFT which includes Tooling feasibility, Process Feasibility, Testing feasibility etc.  To manage all aspects of project delivery, including initiation, planning, design, development and process validation, Develops the timing plan for tracking the program to schedule  Collaborate with internal Quality Assurance department during the development process to PPAP. Lead the APQP team for NPD activities and Project Documentation. Familiar with processes like APQP, PPAP, FMEA documentation & process validation, conducting the MPT & PPVT trials as per the customer volume requirement and project handover to either customer or the Production team.  Expertise in Design of experiments in product and process development. Schedule and coordinate the prototyping of tools and product samples, Handover projects to Value Streams and support them for 6 months after SOP  Provide Engineering change request to improve the part quality and monitoring the Engineering change Notes (ECN), Documentation & implementation. Development of PFMEA and Control plan for prelaunch production.  Prototype parts, stamping tools, Moulds, Welding (Spot / Mig / Seam) & Assembly Fixtures, Assembly Lines, set up Robotic Welding Line, Special Purpose Machines (SPMs).  Coordinate for stage, progressive tools and die development activities with supplier with local and overseas.  Vendor performance evaluation based on Cost, Quality, & Delivery Overall responsible for vendor development Cost negotiation & finalization with the vendor as per budget, Execute Sourcing & Purchasing related actions in assigned projects  Reduce Lead Times by reducing Tack Times - Ensuring smooth & timely delivery, Responsible for packaging development  To access the suppliers process plan and technical capability to ensure good quality material is received  Knowledge in (GD&T) Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerances.  Execute and evaluate Requests for Quotation addressed to suppliers (RFQ), lead supplier negotiation with involvement of Commodity Buyers  Streaming efforts for process for new product & conducting details of existing process & accordingly carry out improvement on existing process.
